Information on the UCI Cycling and Para-Cycling Road World Championships Zurich 2024
The ‘UCI Cycling and Para-Cycling Road World Championships Zurich 2024’ will take place from 21 to 29 September 2024 with around 1,300 athletes and approximately 850,000 visitors. During this time, 53 races are scheduled. As a result, there may be traffic restrictions in the city of Zurich. However, the Brust-Zentrum Zurich can be reached at all times.
Travelling by public transport: The S-Bahn trains are in service, trams and buses will run according to a separate timetable from 25 September. Please note the vbz.ch timetable created especially for the race event.
Travelling by car:
- From 21 to 24 September 2024, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.: You can reach the Brust-Zentrum via Zurich City, via the Forchautostrasse A52 - Forchstrasse and via Tiefenbrunnen. Access to the clinic is then via Seefeldstrasse.
- From 25 to 29 September 2024, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.: You can only reach the Brust-Zentrum via the Forchautostrasse A52 - Forchstrasse and via Tiefenbrunnen. To facilitate access via the Forchautostrasse A52 - Forchstrasse, please print out an access permit using the following Link and place it behind the windscreen. If you have forgotten the permit, please state at the checkpoint at the Itschnacher junction/Zumikon that you wish to drive to the Breast Centre Zurich. You will then be granted access. Please note that delays are to be expected even with access authorisation.
Travelling on foot: You can reach the Brust-Zentrum in a few minutes from Tiefenbrunnen train station.
